I love this “boutique” (Yes, they called it boutique) hotel in New York City. The location is excellent, is in the corner of 57th and Lexington. It’s close to the subway, shopping and walking distance to central park (about 5 blocks)… Who doesn’t like a stroll down central park… see the seasons change on each tree…
The front desk is boutique it has only two small desks with one friendly staff member each. To get to the room you need take an elevator to the second level where they have a restaurant and a second elevator to the room. The hotel has a gym and business center, just everything you need for a short stay.
The “Superior” rooms are quite spacious with plenty of closet space and the queen bed is quite comfortable. The “Cozy” rooms are very small, the bed is provably a full size. The bed are either very comfortable or I was very tired… i think comfortable.
There’s a desk right in front of the bed and next to the window which makes it more luminous and it don’t take any additional space in the room, the room has a really great layout.
The bathrooms are big for New York, they are modern and spacious.
The toiletries are from Aveda and their scent is quite pleasant.
At the time I went the hotel didn’t have room service and no mini bar in the room, but if you ask for a fridge they would bring you a small.
